According to the VAB Asset Management President Tatiana Popova, the company launched a program which will help to manage assets for insurance companies. In the world practice insurance companies are usually the biggest investors. And this type of services is widely used there, except for Ukraine. It is a totally new service for the Ukrainian financial market, because only a few asset management companies , one of them is VAB Asset Management, provide asset management for insurance companies.
Insurance services market development helps to the significant growth of the insurance payments and increase in company’s funds. Insurance companies asset management and investments in assets on the stock market give to the insurance company a possibility of getting an additional profit on the sum of the insurance funds.
Today VAB Asset Management offers both insurance companies asset management (“Stable fund” service) and complex consultations on investments (“Consult fund” service).
“There is no doubt that this service will be popular. Taking in account the existing market conditions, insurance companies will search for the new investment directions. It is worth admitting that the Ukrainian stock market gives large possibilities for insurance companies funds retention and accumulation”- Tatiana Popova said.
Cooperating with asset management companies insurance companies can not only increase the investment profit but also minimize investment risks due to the experienced staff of the asset management companies and can concentrate directly on the insurance business.
